Hello

I entered the corporate world aged 18, starting as a Apprentice within FMCG. Fast forward 25 years and I have enjoyed a progressive career across strategy, marketing, sales and accounts. I have ran small teams and led divisions of over 70 people whilst progressing to director level working for the largest snacking company in the world. I have worked with amazing people and with amazing brands such as Cadbury, Oreo, Kenco, Philadelphia and Toblerone.

During my career I encountered so many moments of self-doubt, hearing the sceptics trying to undermine my confidence, telling me what I can't do rather than encouraging me to try. However, amidst these challenges, I have been fortunate to have been coached and mentored by people who wholeheartedly believed in me and trusted me. Their unwavering faith in my abilities encouraged me to embrace my true potential. Whilst my accomplishments are a result of my determination, I am deeply grateful to those remarkable individuals who supported and mentored me. Their belief in my capabilities ignited a fire within, shaping me into the person I am today.

During my career I also spent so many years trying to compensate for my past, trying to show up as someone I was not, trying to be that perfect employee, the employee that never made a mistake, always said yes, and never let anyone down. I made myself that way, it was never demanded by my employers. By founding Purposs I want to blend my lived experiences  as well as my professional coaching qualifications and skills so that I can help people achieve their dreams, find their purpose in life and to turn up authentically true to themselves.

Outside of work? I love all things sports, and have spent countless hours training or competing in triathlons whilst attempting to blend this with a career in FMCG and a loving family at home. I am blessed with a wife that understands me and we have two young children....plus a dog and a cat!
